Classic Lofted Barns:  Substantial Choice in Outdoor Storage Sheds

Adding a touch of economy and modesty, Classic Lofted Barns comes with a nearly full loft with 4′ access openings.  8′, 10′, and 12′ wide buildings are built with 6′ sidewalls which requires the doors to be placed in the endwalls.  However, 14′ wide buildings have 7′ sidewalls allowing doors to be installed where desired.

What size sheds do you build?

Our portable buildings are 8’, 10’, 12’, and 14’ wide.  Lengths range from 6’ to 40’.

Common sizes include:  8’x10’, 8’x12’, 10’x12’, 10’x14’, 12’x16’, 12’x20’, 12’x24’, 14’x20’, 14’x24’, 14’x28’

How is the shed delivered?

We deliver to your site using a tilt bed trailer and Mule.  The driver will unload the shed onto dolly wheels with flotation tires and the Mule will maneuver the building into your desired spot.

How much space is required for delivery?

The amount of space is minimal.  The width requirement is approximately 2’ wider than the building width. The length requirement is 6′ on each end of the storage unit.  For example, a 20′ storage shed will require 32′ of length.  The Mule and dollies will raise the building 18″, so that must be included when calculating clearances to branches, other buildings’ eaves, etc.  We can go over a regular curb, but not a retaining wall or other large obstacle.

Do I have to be present for the delivery of my storage shed?

Yes, we recommend that you or a designated contact person be present at the time of delivery.

Can my building be constructed in my yard?

Yes, for a modest fee, we can send a crew to build your building on your site.

What do I need to do to prepare my site?

The ground surface should be level, smooth, and firm.  We can deliver onto dirt if it is not too soft.  We can also deliver onto concrete, pavement, and packed rock or gravel.  At your request, our sales staff will provide quotes for concrete or rock pad preparation.  Optionally, your building can rest on a sloped yard (with the understanding that the walls will not be perfectly plumb).

How long does it take to get my storage shed?

In-stock buildings can usually be delivered within two weeks.  Custom built orders will be built and delivered by turn.

What are your payment terms?

At time of order, we ask for a down payment by cash, check, or credit card.  The balance is due at delivery.

What if I’d like to purchase but don’t have the cash on hand?

No problem, you can buy a storage shed on our rent-to-own plan.  There is no need to rent a storage unit blocks or miles away!  Put those monthly payments toward the ownership of your own storage facility.  A security deposit is due with the contract and the first monthly payment is due at delivery.

Precise deliveries to your location with minimal turf damageMule with Caption

Due to our specialized delivery equipment, the space required for delivery of your storage building is very minimal.  The width requirement is approximately 2′ wider than the building width.  The length requirement is 6′ on each end of the storage unit.  For example, a 20′ storage shed will require only 32′ of length, due to the maneuverability of our Mule.  The Mule and dollies will raise the building 18″, so that must be included when calculating clearances to branches and other buildings’ eaves.

"Rent-To-Own" as an alternative to mini-storage.

For those needing storage and on a tight budget.

With a storage building from Sturdi-Bilt, you can have your own storage facility placed conveniently in your back yard and own it after 12 or 24 or 36 monthly rental payments (not available for garages, cabins, or buildings built on site).  Why rent a storage unit miles away when you could have your storage right in your own yard?  In addition, the storage shed becomes entirely yours upon completing the payments.

The size of the rental payment varies according to the price and size of the building you select.

A security deposit is required when the storage shed is ordered and the first month rental payment is due upon delivery.

Give us a call today to discuss your Rent-To-Own Storage Shed with our sales staff and we will customize a plan for you.
